Attorney Karim Popal comes from Afghanistan and speaks the Afghan languages Dari and Pashto as his mother Language. He also speaks Farsi.

His areas of expertise include administrative law, immigration law, contract law, international civil law, and criminal law. He is admitted to all courts in the Federal Republic of Germany.

After studying law in Bremen, he was admitted to the bar in 1992. He is a member of the working group on residence law of the Bremen Bar Association, a member of the German Bar Association, and legal counsel for several foreign associations (including the umbrella organization Schura Bremen and the Muslim Council).
